High School:
Brad played 4 years of baseball at Manitowoc Lincoln. He was a
Fox River Valley Conference infielder as a senior and compiled
the lowest conference ERA (0.66). Brad also broke the singe
season all-time ERA reocrd for Lincoln with a mark of 0.77 as a
senior. While playing for the '98 State Tournament team for
Manitowoc Legion, Brad batted lead-off and was one of their top
pitchers. He was also named to the all-tournament team for the
Plover tournament. During the season Brad entered the top 10
of Manitowoc's recordbook for: runs scored (29) and wins (6).
He also is included in the all-time records for: runs scored
(48), HR's (5), wins (7), ERA (3.26), and K's (76). His most
memorable game as a player for Post 88 was a 12 strikeout
performance against The Green Bay Shockers in the State
Tournament that was eventually lost by Manitowoc 7-5 and turned
out to be a hugh turning point in the tournament. Had
Manitowoc been able to hold on many believe they could have
finished in the top 2, which would have given them a trip the
the National Regional tournament.
College:
Brad is currently pursing a degree in Elementary Education at
UWGB.
Manitowoc Legion:
Brad enters his 3rd season as a JV coach for Manitowoc Legion,
having guided the club to a 3rd place finish at last year's JV
State Tournament. His career record is 32-28, 21 of which came
in last summer's great run to the tournament.
Brad will also take on the JV duties at Reedsville this spring.
